Palace Wolves looks like it's going to be a dull 0-0 draw

A lot has happened last time I checked. It's now 1-1 in the Palace Wolves game and Liverpool are now 3-0 up

So much for a dull 0-0 draw, finished 3-2 to Palace.

Tbf in my defence the first half was a bit tedious

I watched the Newcastle/Liverpool game the other day and thought Liverpool were impressive for an early season game.

Eddie Howe will be getting emptied very soon. Too much money was available & spent to be getting thumped by Brighton.

Just watching Cambridge v Reading. God its great to be out of that shitty league. How did we ever let ourselves get there? Oh and how did we not manage to beat Cambridge? Thank our lucky stars for Gamechanger 20 cos they have done exactly that for us - changed the game...!

Saudi Arabia saw a 1 -3 defeat to Costa Rica. Find this strange seeing as the former held off and beat Argentina in a World Cup game over 90 minutes only a few months recent.

Luxembourg got past Iceland by the same score. May be in a minority but those seem some real bizarre scores.

Leicester on top after beating Southampton 1-4. Vardy scores in the first minute.

Should be an interesting match when we play Leicester...

Southampton’s defence is absolutely abysmal, I'll be amazed if we don't score Tuesday

I’ll predict 4-1 …. Hope we play break football against them : we need to use our pacy players Tuesday . …. But I doubt we’ll change our approach lol

Can't see Southampton being pumped 4-1 in two successive games. Although stranger things have happened.

They’ve conceded 9 goals I think, in the last two games?

Mind you, footie being footie , they’ll be due a win then !!

The best result for Town between Norwich and Leicester would be a draw, but I hope Leicester score 6 🤣🤣

They’ve not managed 6 but are leading 0-2 with only added time to play. Second goal had a suspicion of offside but no VAR to rule it out. I think a Leicester win is best for us as it leaves us 8 points clear of Norwich who really should have drawn level had they taken just one of their many opportunities.

On the other hand Leicester looked very good and will most likely take one of the automatic promotion places baring a miracle.

Sunderland have also had a tidy 1-3 away win at Blackburn tonight who we play at Portman Road on Saturday. This win really does highlight how good our win was at The Stadium of Light on the opening day of the season. At least we managed to meet one team at the right time of the season before they got into their stride.

Nodge lost Ashley Barnes to injury last night . Do they have any fit strikers left now?

It's Scots Cup First Round this weekend but for die-hard enthusiasts only.

You can take your pick from standout ties but Banks of Dee versus Dalbeattie , Dundonald Bluebells and Kilwinning, not to mention St Andrews against Auchinleck appear to be the cream of the round. Wick hold a certain honor in being the most northern club on mainland British Isles and while they are expected to progress against Jeanfield they can expect little success in reaching the more latter stages of competition.

There are a few very tasty ties, Saint. My home town (pre divorce) Penicuik Athletic v Pollok juniors.
Back when St Mirren were a total mess and going through ownership issues and changing from Love Street to the new stadium, a lot of Paisley based buddies were opting to watch Pollok instead. Deserting them. Reckon there will be a decent Pollok support in Penicuik today. 👍👌

Brechin v Rothes.
Bo’ness (only 6 miles from my house) v Darvel. (Last seasons conquerors of Aberdeen)
Dalkeith v Clydebank
And Tranent v Hutchison Vale…… (son played a season for Hutchy)

As you say, for the enthusiast…….. but its one of my personal favourite weeks of the season. 👍👌

Berwick got creamed by 5 - 1 at Brora although the latter had a standout win against big league opposition a season or two back but that doesn't necessarily make it so.

Cowdenbeath made hard work of getting past Linlithgow with a home advantage while one of the more recognized names in Clydebank hit Dalkeith for seven. East Stirling had a surprise setback with Huntly while any Strathspey challenge was derailed by eight at GFR. The real action or focus point comes with the Third Round but here at least ties of relative interest can be observed or acknowledged.

And Penicuik 0 Pollok 6

Which……… is actually quite irritating. Pollok being Central West Premier, Penicuik being Central East Premier (albeit currently 9th) …… they’re more than capable. Really thought it’d be closer. Was 4-0 @ HT 🤦‍♂️

And yep, Clydebank were always going to thump Dalkeith.

Just to add……. Bonnyrigg made the Football League just ahead of Linlithgow. Linlithgow are a very good side. Tipped them to get past The Blue Brazil yesterday.
And err..,,,.. if anyone ever thinking of going to a Linlithgow v Bo’ness game, —->> wear neutral colours. Theyre crazy bstds!

Chelsea are going to be in for another long season in my eyes. They looked dominated in possession but they can't score or defend properly.

Newcastle winning 8-0 in 87th minute. With lots of extra time (hopefully) they can get 2 more!!

Constantly get teased by large prem scores don't we?! I thought with the professionalism these days that 9-0 would never be topped, but we had one last year didn't we? So perhaps just a matter of time until we get double figures one day and this fine club is erased from that statistic! Probably end up being us against City next season with luck.
