Whatever happens I think we’re in a good position to push for an automatic. If not I’m really starting to believe in this team to advance via the playoffs. We have to be consistent though, no more f*ck ups.

Looking forward to a football fest today, first Town followed by Hull City v Leicester. Hopefully an exciting day with beneficial outcome’s especially after the Leeds result last night. If we win at Cardiff anything other than a Leicester win would be a massive bonus.

Very poor penalty by Carvalho, very similar pen to Al-Hamadi’s against Bristol City.

1-0 Hull ⚽️ Carvalho made up for his missed penalty. Hull look up for this.

Hull 1-1 Leicester at HT. David Nugent in the studio at LeicesterTv, for some unknown reason I can’t stand this guy. Maybe it’s all the goals he scored against us.

Norwich hammering Rotherham 4-0 at HT moving them closer to 6th place and the play offs. Surely not !

You could imagine what it would be like if they went up via the playoffs and we stay down. Then again I rather not.

Talk about feeling ancient......, Sydney Van Hooijdonk comes on for Norwich. Feels like only yesterday his dad Pierre was scoring for fun for Celtic. And single handedly winning the Scottish Cup. Paul Lambert would probably disagree but fk him.

I can’t say I fancy our chances at Hull with our defence. Leicester are struggling to contain them with a defence much tighter than ours.

If you think Hladky is suspect playing out from the back sometimes take a look at Ramsdale gifting Brentwood an equaliser at The Emirates Stadium tonight.

The thing I noted about that was the Brentford player actually MEANING to try and get the ball. So many times when we “ close down” players only go through the motion to close that gap. They never take it to the final tackle.

Being impartial, Rangers deserve credit for giving Portugal's greatest club name a game over two legs in Europe. Took on Benfica over two contests, put up a fight and lost out by one goal. I don't like them but it's a decent advert for the SPL and they got a proud European record in recent seasons.

Brighton Hove Albion win over AS Roma of all things. Too bad the Italians had a four goal advantage from the first contest. Still a great win for the Sussex team, easily one of the best in club history.

Aston Villa whacked Ajax Amsterdam by 4 - 0 in Birmingham. The Europa Conference League is a second-rate p*ss-ant competition but that result alone, hell that's going get some headlines around Europe.

11-2 on agg for Liverpool, Saint. Worth a mention, no? Think they won “the toffees” on the night. 👍

Ajax are not the club of yesteryear…I mean ten Hag was their manager before ManU. What’s that tell ya? Yep, Liverpool dominated again. Rangers are not really an advert for the SPL, are they?

Ajax fell away shortly after the 1995 European Cup win. One of the best teams assembled in world "football" that could quite emulate the one from early 1970's but broken up around 96, 97, sold off the best players and never been the same since back then. Moving from a previous established home into a new stadia around same time just hasn't worked for them either. PSV probably taken over label as Netherlands most recognized or effective club name this century.
