Huge fan of Hutchison, was in no way being negative on the guy....., he's a much better Martin Boyle: heaps of skill, but maybe needs to learn not to spend too much time on the "perfect moment". (Lightening fast game I know, all about fine margins)
But do agree also from a coaching perspective; maybe KMcK (in his quest for learning more) will hopefully have that chat with talent like Hutchy ---->> "play the easy ball on occasion"

Hmm, Edmundson in place of Wolfie? Bit of a surprise, but maybe Wolfie has been suffering with illness and is only able to be named as a sub?
Other than that Clarke, Taylor and Jackson are in, Tuanzebe, Luongo and Chaplin drop to the bench. Moore is retained up front!

No problem with Edmundson instead of Woolfy, pleased with Clarke and Taylor, not so sure about Jackson and Moore if I'm honest

Hopefully Hutchinson can show tonight what he did against Sheffield Wed when played as a ten.

Having a strong bench is very much McKenna’s modus operandi especially with attacking options and we certainly have that tonight with Chaplin, Harness, Sarmiento and Al-Hamadi to bring on soon after 60 mins if we need freshening up in attack.

I probably wouldn’t have started with Jackson but he will give us pace and energy and certainly won’t let us down. I just prefer Chaplin who reliably scores more goals but didn’t look very sharp at Norwich on Saturday, he may even still be struggling from his recent knock.

Rajovic needs watching and I’m not sorry to see Dennis on the bench. Would be good if we could get an early goal to force them to come at us which would create more space to work in. I’m sure they would be happy with a draw whereas this need a win for us if we want to grab one of those automatic places.

What an opportunity we have.

Quite a bit of change. Hutchison in number 10 role which may suit him. Not surprised at the changes at all.

We just need Morsy not to pick up a cheap yellow card for something unnecessary. 🙏

Not a bad first half. Controlled and patient almost resulting in a goal for Broadhead. We just need to be a bit more clinical with our finishing. Solid defensively.

Fairly happy with that first half performance. At least we’re creating chances a very unfortunate not to be in front either from Broadhead’s shot that hit the inside of the post of Moore’s powerful header which their keeper got a strong hand to. Four good scoring chances falling mainly to Broadhead who looks quite sharp tonight, Keiffer Moore had been much more involved to.

I’m still not convinced by Edmundson who never looks far away from a costly mistake and Burgess also had safely moment which fortunately he recovered himself from. Harry Clarke looks more assured than Tuanzebe and is getting himself well forward but just a slight danger he could get caught out of position when they break quickly out of defence.

Town have had the best two chances. Broadhead hit the inside of the post and Moore had a great header well saved. We are still playing a bit to slow for my liking.and need to up the pace. Watford looking for scraps on the break.

How can we not score against this opposition after 80 minutes with a home advantage. Particularly with the players we got that must be out there.

This should be a great opportunity for three points but no-one seems able to locate the goal, what the hell. Saying that we sometimes leave it late to win fixtures so just maybe someone can do it for us. Hope we're not playing one in attack for the last minutes of this, we got to go for it really. Take the chance and go for it, missing two points could be critical by final game.

Watford defended well. We were not clinical with our finishing. All in all, not a bad performance. There’s still a lot of twists and turns to go.

Some Watford player almost scored from the middle of the field. Don't deserve that, in fact they've called time and we drop two points. Initial reaction, missed opportunity, nothing more nothing less.

This game was a real chance for 3 points and can't hide dismay we failed to do it. Two games now without scoring, just uncharacteristic for a team highest league scores and the potential attack we usually possess.

it's another point towards auto promotion but really, this was a game that seemed to call out for three Town points before start of play.

That was a very lackluster 2nd half performance. No drive no penetration considering whats up for grabs 🤷‍♂️

I felt Watford were going to be tough to break down, they have drawn more than any team but one this season, with 3 in a row against decent sides. However, Leeds and Leicester are not going to slip up often, and that's the kind of game you have to win with trickier ones to follow.

Not a single shot on target in the second half which is very disappointing but they simply allowed us no space whatsoever to work in. Clearly they set themselves up for draw with an outside chance of nicking all three points and neatly succeeded when Hladky not for the first time wandered way too far upfield and sooner or later will get caught out.

Tonight Watford completed 4 successive draws for the first time since 2012 and OMG they looked so excited having achieved their objective.

I guess having done better than Leicester and matched Leeds in this round of fixtures then nothings lost and we move onto Saturday when we must do the same again. This time it’s against another tough opponent in Middlesbrough unbeaten in their last 8 games and after that we play Hull City and Coventry City . If it happens it certainly won’t be easy.

Disappointing not to take advantage of the others slipping up but at least its a point and still in our own hands. Missed first half chances cost us but I have no idea how we didn't go in at half time ahead, the one off the post was very unlucky.

Second half was tough going and chances at a premium, a few blocked shots in the last 15 minutes but it just wouldn't fall for us on this occasion. Four wins and we're up, getting closer.
