BOMB SIGHT

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Interesting,

Even more interesting for those who don't know, My beloved Malta was the most consecutively bombed country in the World during WW2.

London - 57 Consecutive days/nights
Malta - 154 days/nights

Malta holds the record for the heaviest, sustained bombing attack: some 154 days and nights and 6,700 tons of bombs.

for such a tiny tiny country.

I didn't know that Quasar. I suppose the bombings were during the Siege of Malta?

Indeed it was and Malta was defended very well.

Malta is also a lovely place to dive, specially with all the wrecks, I have swam through a U-boat - quite a daunting but interesting experience.
