The Any Club Thread, Starting with, Wolves vs Espanyol Europa Cup 20/2/20
You wouldn't have believed it would you, just a few years back that come Thursday Wolves will be hosting a Spanish side in the later stages of a Euro competition.
From this stage on each goal, each chance taken seems to have greater meaning.
Forecast.
Wolves 1 Espanyol 0.

Got to expect to kill them off first leg, Wolfie. They're having a poor season. 3-0 at the MOL. 1-1 in Spain.

Would’ve had a nice bet come in today, Wolfie. Wolves didn’t let me down on the 8 team accumulator (great price) ...... but Dundee United yesterday

Halesowen Town fans are all smiles as their team shocked National League Barnet 2-1 to reach the FA Trophy semi-finals Pic: Steve Evans
The Yeltz were roared into the semi-finals of the FA Trophy – non-league’s FA Cup – by 650 travelling supporters at Barnet’s Hive on Saturday.
It is the third National League Premier side in a row to fall victim to history-making Halesowen, who play three divisions below in Southern Central One, the fourth tier of non-league football.

650 travelling fans? That’s fantastic for non league. Well done, Halesowen Town. Hopefully it’s a Halesowen v Notts County Final.
Is this a Wembley day out this cup final? That’d be a big day out.

Caption that picture, Wolfie.
Halesowen man, bottom left, cannot celebrate his beloved teams winner as he hears through his transistor radio that Ipswich Town lose at Blackpool, effectively bursting his potential 50 grand accumulator.
And you thought I was gonnae caption the two steak bake munchin’ Fatties! Shame on you, Wolfie.

yeah the finals at Wembley, went there a couple of times with Telford and Stafford Rangers, great day out, was a while ago now.
Would be great to see Notts County in Final, I remember getting together with some Albion fans to go up to one of there home games to help them out when they were on the brink, over 200 between us went that day.

Yes, that was an eye opener last night. Reality check in the Jack Ross era. And as much as I do like Scott Allan, someone needs to have a word in his shell......., its Hibs he plays for. Not Napoli or Juve.goldandblack wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 8:39 pmPS, good luck in stuffing those wanabees tonight mate, Hibernian v Heart of Midlothian

Re: The Any Club Thread, Starting with, Wolves vs Espanyol Europa Cup 20/2/20
Its the players own fault, Wolfie. Strutting about first 20 minutes taking Hearts for granted. Was very annoying the way the midfield was being cancelled out with ease. Hearts deserved their win. Hopefully HFC learned their lesson and it's a different story come semi final time. Was looking forward to that. Sort of dreading it now.goldandblack wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 4:26 pmyeah gutted for you mate, will be getting a bit of grief from Stu tomorrowmarko69 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 11:10 pmYes, that was an eye opener last night. Well Stu said he feels your pain, but he seemed more impressed stuffing the Rangers, he said you'd probably agree on that,marko69 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 4:44 pmIts the players own fault, Wolfie.
