Even more interesting for those who don't know, My beloved Malta was the most consecutively bombed country in the World during WW2.
London - 57 Consecutive days/nights
Malta - 154 days/nights
Malta holds the record for the heaviest, sustained bombing attack: some 154 days and nights and 6,700 tons of bombs.
for such a tiny tiny country.
Even more interesting for those who don't know, My beloved Malta was the most consecutively bombed country in the World during WW2.

Indeed it was and Malta was defended very well.
Malta is also a lovely place to dive, specially with all the wrecks, I have swam through a U-boat - quite a daunting but interesting experience.
